The tallies are in, and as expected, the 2010 Atlantic City Restaurant Week held the first week of March was successful on all levels, according to officials at the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority (ACCVA), which produced the event for the second year in a row.

The Boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ – the great granddaddy of all boardwalks, dating from 1870 – is at the top of the list of the “10 Top American Boardwalks,” according to ForbesTraveler.com. Earlier this year, ForbesTraveler.com listed Atlantic City as one of the top golf destinations in the U.S.

A-10 To Hold 2010 - 2012 Men's Basketball Championships in A.C.
The Atlantic 10 Conference will hold its 2010, 2011 and 2012 men's basketball championships at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J., it was announced today by Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade. The Championship has been held there for the past three years.

ACCVA to install largest single roof-mounted solar array in the US
The Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority (ACCVA) announced today that it has awarded Pepco Energy Services, a subsidiary of Pepco Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: POM) a 20-year power purchase agreement with the Atlantic City Convention Center (ACCC) to install the largest single roof-mounted solar array in the United States.
